Heritage committee submits Grant application

After months of work, this afternoon the Hydro1 Heritage Centre Committee submitted its 72 page on-line application for an Australian Government Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program grant for the proposed Monaro Engineering Education & Environmental Precinct (MEEECAP) project to revitalize the precinct around the SMEC Fluid Mechanics Laboratory (proposed Hydro1 Heritage Centre).

A very big thank-you to the 30+ community organisations, businesses, individuals and government representatives who gave valuable feedback and provided letters of support for the submission, to the whole committee and to St Andrews Uniting Church for making their Church Hall office available for the intense final week of grant submission preparation.
